After breakfast, your driver and local guide will meet you at your hotel to begin your city tour of Marrakech’s Aladin-style medina, where you will see the beautiful Palaces and secret gardens. Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Prepare for an amazing event that will take your breath away! We begin our adventurous Marrakech desert tour as the sun rises, taking us to the gorgeous Merzouga desert. Our excursion will take us into the stunning High Atlas Mountains, where we will travel along winding roads and enjoy the breathtaking views of Atlas Berber settlements and Kasbahs.

We’ll come across the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a world-renowned monument with antique charm and unrivaled beauty, as we travel deeper into the foothills. Our next destination is the captivating town of Ouarzazate, popularly known as the “Hollywood of Africa.” We’ll go to Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios, where scenes from popular blockbusters like Game of Thrones were shot. But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Our journey continues to the captivating route of the Thousand Kasbahs and Rose Valleys, where we shall witness nature’s splendor at its greatest. When the day is done, we’ll go to the magnificent Dades Valley, where we’ll eat a delicious meal and spend the night relaxing.

Day 4: Spend A Day Among The Berbers

Spend a day among the locals, like a native. If you’re interested, we can go on a walking expedition through the fields and neighboring gorges, or even visit the nomadic campground high in the mountains. Eat lunch at a Berber family’s home and mingle with the locals. Get a feel for the Berber way of life through them. A fantastic day of culture and nature.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Todra Canyon – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Today we start the day with a delicious traditional breakfast to fuel our travels. Expect to be captivated by the beautiful nature as we journey through the Toudra Gorges on roads flanked by historic kasbahs and lovely Berber communities. The spectacular Tinghir Valley, a green refuge surrounded by massive pink and grey granite cliffs reaching up to 300m in height, is our next stop. But this is only the beginning of our adventure! Our next visit is the famed Erg Chebbi dunes near Merzouga, located in the heart of the Sahara Desert. Before we go, we’ll stop in Tinjdad for a fantastic lunch to fuel our journey. Before reaching the towering Erg Chebbi dunes see the sunset in a shower of colors, all in superb style. Imagine yourself immersed in the desert’s allure.

Day 6: Spend A Day In The Sahara Desert

After a late breakfast, depending on your wake-up time, we will begin today with a panoramic view of the entire Erg Chebbi, then to the Nomad tribes if we are lucky enough to discover them, where we will have a cup of tea with one of the families and learn about their way of life. Then we’ll go to Khamlia, where we’ll have lunch and meet the Gnawa, listen to their music, and learn about them. And in the evening, we’ll switch vehicles and ride Camels over the dunes to our luxury camp, where we’ll have dinner and a musical soiree with the staff before sleeping beneath the starry sky of the Sahara Desert.

Optional: We can schedule an off-roading experience with Quad Bikes or ATVs.

Day 7: Merzouga (Sahara Desert) – Midelt – Fez

Day 8: Fez City Tour With A Local Guide

After breakfast, your driver and local guide in Fez will meet you at your hotel to begin your city tour, which is often divided into two parts:

By Car:

  • Learn about the stunning design of the Royal Palace, which features seven golden gates. Then, enjoy a tour of the Mellah, or Jewish neighborhood, which was built near the Palace to offer security.
  • Take in the scenery from the Southern Tower, a historical fortress, and one of the lookouts on a hill from which you can see the whole layout of Fez, allowing you to find spots that skyline-obscuring structures would otherwise cover.

Take in the changing scenery as we pass through the charming town of Ouazzane. Finally, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen’s blue alleyways, a bizarre location steeped in mystery and history.

Day 10: Chefchaouen – Rabat – Casablanca

After a delicious breakfast at our Chefchaouen hotel, we’ll make our way to Rabat. Morocco’s capital city, to view all of the city’s major attractions. Then we’ll go south to Casablanca. Explore Hassan II Mosque’s architectural marvel and stroll along the lovely Ain Diab Corniche. Take in the lively environment and beach charm.

Day 11: Casablanca – El Oualidia – Essaouira

We’ll continue south down the Atlantic coast. Via endless breathtaking views, to the Lagoon town of El Oualidia, famous for its oysters and other delicacies. Continue our journey to Essaouira, a picturesque port town, to explore the artsy-craftsy ambiance.

Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech

After a great breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel and return you to the beginning. Our journey will take us across a variety of landscapes and isolated communities. and have fun with the adorable tree-climbing goats. Then return to Marrakech for one last night in this enthralling city.
